We have always shared our love and admiration for all animals but it was some years before we decided to devote our lives to them through our own business, Hee Haw Donkeys.

Years ago, as leather craftsmen we had started in business together in York and became very successful. Anthony also studied law and became a senior criminal defence barrister until 2003, when we both decided to change our lives altogether!

Seizing the opportunity to buy a neglected Beach Donkey Business, we spent the next twelve months working very hard with the donkeys and successfully turned the business into one of the best in the country and we named it Hee Haw Donkeys!

Having a home and land in the far north of Scotland, we thought what fun it would be make a change and introduce our beautiful donkeys to Scotland. So, in the autumn of 2005 we established a new home for our Hee Haw Donkeys in Caithness.

We are always pleased to offer help and advice concerning the care and welfare of donkeys.
